Why Chapters, Not Collections
Fashion moves in seasons. Spring/Summer. Fall/Winter. Pre-fall. Resort. The industry runs on a calendar that demands newness every few weeks. We wanted no part of that.
Colored Souls does not release collections. We open chapters. Each one tells a complete story — from the original painting to the garments that carry it. A chapter stays open as long as the story has something to say.
Chapter I began with a single image: a figure walking across water toward a burning sky. It wasn't designed for a season. It was painted because the artist needed to see it exist. That's the only brief we follow.
