The story
Art first.
Clothing as canvas.
Colored Souls started with a painting, not a business plan. In MMXX, somewhere in Nederland, a brush met canvas and something honest appeared — a figure walking toward a horizon it could not see. That painting asked a question: what if art didn't live on walls?
We put original artwork on premium garments. Not as decoration. Not as branding. As a way of carrying a story. Every piece begins with a painting — oil on canvas, hand-made, one of one. The garment is the gallery wall.
There are no collections. No seasons. No trends to follow. We work in chapters — each one a complete narrative, from the first brushstroke to the final stitch. A chapter opens when the story is ready. It closes when every numbered piece has found its person.
We believe in negative space. In the gallery, the painting is small and the wall is vast. On the body, the artwork is ±25 centimeters — centered, breathing, surrounded by fabric the way a painting is surrounded by white.

The artist
Behind every chapter
The artist behind Colored Souls works in oil, acrylic, and silence. Each painting is an act of looking inward — at identity, movement, and the colors we carry but rarely show.
Self-taught, rooted in the Netherlands, influenced by the tension between stillness and motion. The work is figurative but not literal — every piece captures a feeling, not a face.
No collection. No season.
Only chapters.
The experience
More than a package
Elke bestelling wordt verpakt in een matzwarte doos met zwart vloeipapier, een Colored Souls-sticker en een kaartje met een persoonlijk bericht.
“Thank you for carrying more than fabric. You now carry a story.”
